Studio Space
The studio space is approximately 16 x 27 ft, with hardwood flooring, and a ballet barre. It also contains space for parent observation, with plenty of room for classes of up to five students. The space can be reached from the left side yard of the house (stone walkway), so drop offs are hassle-free.
Mia is a junior at Yorktown high School. She has been dancing since age 4 at Adagio Ballet School of Dance, focusing on mostly ballet and contemporary technique for the 11 years she danced there. In 2014 she joined the Senior ballet company, where she played as multiple soloist roles, including Clara in the Nutcracker and the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. She attended multiple summer intensive programs, including the Kirov in Washington, DC, and the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive, where she received intense, professional training from teachers from around the world. She has also attended the Youth American Grand Prix Competition where she has shown skill in both ballet and contemporary aspects, receiving the renowned recognition for Top 12 in the senior ballet category.

Pre-Ballet
Programs
Set at a slower, fun-oriented pace, the Pre-Ballet class is a perfect introduction to ballet for your child. Classes are semi-private (up to 4 students), and are $20 per every 45 minute lesson. Lessons are a combination of developing creativity and social skills, and introducing ballet technique.
Intermediate Ballet
Modern/
Contemporary Lessons
The Intermediate-level is for students who have already had a classroom experience with ballet, and are ready to take it to a more instructionalized, learning level. Classes are semi-private (up to 3 students), and are $25 per every hour long lesson.
Contemporary lessons are a great way for students to develop their dance skill in a new way. Modern and contemporary are, by textbook, directly derived from ballet, thus it is important for students to have basic ballet knowledge and skills to partake in modern classes. Lessons are $25 for every hour long lesson. Students will be placed in classes depending on skill, and lessons will be limited to three students per class.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are beneficial for students who want a more personalized basis of learning. Classes are $20 per every 45 minute long lesson and $25 per every hour long lesson. Students will have a choice between ballet or contemporary lessons.
Covid 19 Precautions
Out of an abundance of caution and care for the safety of other students, class sizes will be limited to at most 4 students per lesson, and only one parent per student will be permitted to watch. Masks will be required for all students and parents, and social distancing guidelines will be upheld for the duration of the class, including before and after each lesson. Private lessons are also available for any students in high-risk categories.
